Thorne Nature Preschool Moves to the NEW Lafayette Nature Center

You may already know that Thorne is building a new nature center in Lafayette and that we have a fantastic nature-based preschool, but did you know that our preschool is moving to the new Lafayette Nature Center this coming summer?!

The Lafayette Nature Center, with its state-of-the-art programming space and nature play area, will be home to Colorado's first custom-designed nature preschool facility. 

We can't wait to see preschoolers engaging in the new space that includes:

• Innovative indoor and outdoor nature play elements that are designed to support fine and gross motor skill development. Picture an on-site sledding hill, a Strider bike course, a nature-themed swing and slide, along with an indoor bird nest and treehouse for creative projects on chilly, rainy days.

• Over 3,000 square feet of covered outdoor space, allowing for outdoor learning even in inclement weather.

• A convenient location that is only a pinecone's toss away from Coal Creek Open Space, a magical natural space with giant cottonwood groves, abundant flora and fauna, and year-round access to water exploration.
