Thorne Nature Preschool Summer Sessions
Thorne Nature Preschool offers summer sessions modeled after our school year program, where children learn and grow in nature. Children in our school-year program have priority for enrollment in the summer sessions, and we also offer a limited number of spaces for participants who will be joining Thorne Nature Preschool in the upcoming school year.
In the summer of 2026, Thorne Nature Preschool spaces will be available only to current or future school-year participants. Families who are not enrolled in Thorne Nature Preschool can join the Summer Session waitlist by emailing preschool@thornenature.org. Please note that this program is very popular and currently has a long waitlist.
Ages
Children ages 3-5 years old; must be toilet trained to attend.
Additional option for children who will be at least five years old by October 15th- Thorne Nature Experience Summer Camp! If you are interested in Thorne's Summer Camps for ages 5 and up, please visit thornenature.org/camp for more information. Half-Day Program: 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Full-Day Program: 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Early care is available from 8:30-9:00 a.m.
Session Dates, Days, & PRICING
To ensure the best experience for children participating in the program, we offer two 4-week sessions. Families can choose from 2-day (T/TH), 3-day (M/W/F), and 5-day (M-F) options. Pricing for the 2026 season will be posted by December.
Session A: June 8-July 3, 2026 (closed for holiday on June 19)- FULL for 2026, email preschool@thornenature.org to join the waitlist.

Registration
Currently Enrolled School Year Participants: Registration for our Summer Sessions will be available before the start of the new year.
Future Participants: Registration opens each January for families who are not currently enrolled but will join our school-year program in the upcoming year.
