Thorne Nature Preschool Summer Sessions

Thorne Nature Preschool offers summer sessions modeled after our school year program, where children learn and grow in nature. Children in our school year program have priority for enrollment in the summer sessions, and we also offer a limited number of spaces for participants who do not attend our school year program.

Summer Session registration opens for the public in January each year. Join our mailing list to be the first to receive registration details when they are available.

Ages

Children ages 3-5 years old; must be toilet trained to attend.

Additional option for children who will be at least five years old by October 15th- Thorne Nature Experience Summer Camp! If you are interested in Thorne's Summer Camps for ages 5 and up, please visit thornenature.org/summer-camp/ for more information. Hours

Half-Day Program: 9:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Full-Day Program: 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Early care is available from 8:30-9:00 a.m.

Session Dates, Days, & PRICING

To ensure the best experience for children participating in the program, we offer two 4-week sessions. Families can choose from 2-day (T/TH), 3-day (M/W/F), and 5-day (M-F) options. Pricing for the 2026 season will be posted by December.

Registration

Currently Enrolled School Year Participants: Registration for our Summer Sessions will be available before the new year.

General Public: Registration for families who are not enrolled in our school year program opens in early January each year.
